Just wrapped up another Outdoor Retailer and I finally got to meet my hero, Dana from @mysteryranch who created Dana Designs backpacks that I carried for many years. He couldn’t have been a nicer guy to chat with! #outdoorretailer #danadesigns #thruhiker #denver ... See MoreSee Less

It’s always a bittersweet time to leave at the end of a great event and Trail Days this year was just that. It’s a ton of work being in the booth for 12-14hours a day, but getting to see old friends from the AT to the CDT and even years ridge running is always amazing. The hiker parade is always a fun break on Saturday and I even had a fellow class of ‘96er there to hold up the banner with me. Until next year stay dirty and stinky hiker nation. #dirtbag #workhardplayhard #traildays2022 #damascus #thruhiker ... See MoreSee Less

We couldn’t make it to retrieve the shed I found while hiking because we ran out of road and it was too far in (see pic 2). However we did get a surprise of the Pie-o-Ne’er in Pie Town, NM being open again and we grabbed some treats for later tonight. #landofenchantment #pietown #hiker #bravethecdt #roadtriphome ...
